The rich history of the &tradition range begins with Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen's Mayor Sofa, which came alive when the two modernist architects were commissioned to design Søllerød Town Hall in 1939.  

A solid oak frame compliments a tightly and perfectly upholstered seat in modern Kvadrat fabrics. Featuring two rows of buttons extended over the armrests, the Mayor Sofa is an award winning design that is as elegant today as it was in 1939. The Mayor Sofa has recently landed in both our Sydney and Melbourne showrooms where you can now admire its warm minimalism in person.  

&tradition combine historically significant designs like the Jorn Utzon pendants (below) or Verner Panton's infamous Flowerpots with new materials. The use of fresh finishes like copper, brass or matte metals bridges the gap between our modern homes and some of the most iconic and significant designs of all time. The result is truly timeless pieces that transcend decades and tradition.
