Inspira, breathing life into business

July 2015

Inspiration

In THIS ISSUE

It’s summer at last and the long school summer holidays are almost here. For business owners and managers with school age kids this means one thing – the start of one big juggling act! Balancing business demands with childcare, covering staff holidays and finding the time to take a much-needed break can all take its toll.

If the prospect of summer fills you with trepidation, fear not. In this issue we have some useful hints and tips on how you and your business can survive the summer holidays unscathed. From planning and organisation, outsourcing, temporary workers to holiday handovers, we’ve got it covered.

Summer also heralds the start of that great British of traditions, Wimbledon. As the world’s top-ranked tennis players compete to win the championships, you can be sure their coaches will be on hand offering words of encouragement, support and giving valuable advice to help give their players a competitive edge. But it’s not just tennis players who benefit from great coaching. An effective business coach can make a huge difference to you and your business - we explain why.

We also talk about flexible working – something we feel passionately about Inspira. In fact, we recently featured on the Guardian website talking about how we make flexibility work for us. If you missed the link on our social media pages, you can read it here.

Summer is here and the living is easy?

It’s not long now until school breaks up for the summer. If you’re not looking forward to the inevitable juggling of many balls in the air at once, we have some suggestions how to make your summer go more smoothly.

Anyone for business growth?

Wimbledon is here and tennis players and their coaches will be working hard to succeed in this most prestigious of tournaments.Just like a tennis coach, a good business coach can make a huge difference to the end result. We explain why.

Flexibility works

Since 30 June 2014, almost all employees with at least 26 weeks’ service have had the right to ask for flexible working. It’s a great way for employees to get that elusive work/life balance right. Here we explain how we make it work at Inspira.

“Great things in business are never done by one person, they're done by a team of people."
