Regent's Park are hosting London's Green Fair for both parents who want to instil ecological awareness in their baby’s urban upbringing and those who just fancy a great day out with the family. At the fair the whole family can listen to music, dance, engage in debate, eat organic, peruse ethical and fair trade products for purchase, learn about social activism in their neighbourhood and then take the little ones over for an ethical play.

On a warm summer’s day, there are few London destinations that top this ultra-secret family area adjacent to the Serpentine Lido for fun with baby. Located in Hyde Park, next to the Serpentine Lido Cafe; this secluded lawn and picnic area also boasts a playground, sand pit, and a small paddling pool with water jets making it a perfect idyll for babies and small children. There is also a snack stand where you can bring your own picnic.

Holland Park Outdoor Opera, Stable Yard, will be presenting Fantastic Mr Fox for a second year running. This fun opera, designed specifically for children has the audience moving around, utilising the forests and trees in the park for the sets. Families sit on the ground, with children invited to sit directly next to the orchestra ensemble, helping ground short attention spans. The cast is suburb and no one will be disappointed.

Due to the refurbishment of Liecester Square, Westminster City Council is hosting West End Live in Trafalgar Square for just this year. Families will not only be able to take in free acts from the current theatre and musicals, but galleries and cultural institutions will be hosting interactive events for children to take part in. The Science Museum, Historic Royal Palaces and Ripley’s are sure to impress as some of this year’s marquee exhibitors.

Children’s charity, Small Steps Project and maternity brand, Eva Alexander are holding a massive clothing drive, in aid of children, living in poverty on rubbish dumps around the world. They are calling out for lightweight shirts and pants, sturdy shoes and boots, sun hats and sun glasses that are used but still in good condition. The two hope that by redistributing the clothing they are not only helping hundreds of children but are also helping ease global waste.

Following their success in Clapham, Baby Sensory will be opening new classes in Chelsea. To mark the new classes there will be a fun launch party in Gambado, Chelsea on the 21st June from 9.30-10.30.
