Phonics/Reading: Rhyming
Math: # 4 and AB Patterns
Unit: Nursery Rhymes
Show and Tell: Find 2 pictures that rhyme (glue them on the two index cards that are in your child’s folder) The pictures may be from magazines, computer or hand drawn. (Ex. kite and light) We will make a class book of rhyming things.

Reminders

Please remember to send box tops with your child. The class with the most box tops receives a trophy every month!
Tennis shoes are the preferred shoe and must be worn on PE days.
If you have not sent in snacks for your child’s classroom, please do so ASAP.
Also, please send a water bottle every day with your child.

We are hosting our 1st VIP Alumni Tailgate on Friday, October 12th from 5-7pm before the Football Homecoming Game. Come and enjoy great food, family entertainment, free admission to the game and an alumni tshirt! September 17th: Health Screening
September 28th: Grandparent’s Day Program - Families and grandparents are invited to attend the special program. This is always a wonderful time of honoring grandparents and their special influence on our children! - Dismissal is right after the program - No Extended Care.
October 4th: Cookie Dough delivered to school. Parents may pick up orders at the end of the day.
Ocotber 5th: Field Trip to Farmland Adventures. More information coming soon!
October 12th: Homecoming Party at 2:00 p.m.
October 15th: Parent/Teacher Conferences. - NO SCHOOL for children. Teachers will send an electronic sign-up through email.
October 31st: Picture Re-Takes
