Hi there,

We’re just one month out from the annual CIO Awards, including the prestigious CIO of the Year gong, and last night saw the announcement of the finalists for the hotly contested awards.

After the disruption of 2020, successful CIOs and IT teams have taken the lessons they learned during Covid to create innovative business models and accelerate business transformation programmes.

But there’s also increased focus on wellbeing of employees, customers and communities, not to mention whanau, whakapapa and tangata whenua.

The awards take place in Auckland on August 31 as part of the CIO Summit, but for now congratulations to all the finalists shining a light on IT after a helluva year.

Enjoy the read,
