rainbow unlimited NEWS Nr. 40
23 December 2015
Dear
Another exciting year comes to an end. Time to thank you for your cooperation throughout the year and your continued support of our activities.
In addition to our ongoing and and well established activities - the operational management of the Swiss-African Business Circle and the organization of the AFRICA CEO FORUM and the Africa Business Day - we were able to launch in 2015 some new projects, in particular the setting up of a Swiss-Kenyan Hotel Management School in Nairobi and a new exclusive online Investment Projects Platform.
Allow us to hightlight just a few activities and projects which will keep us busy next year:
After celebrating its 5 year anniversary in 2015 (to view the anniversary video which was done for the 5 year celebrations click HERE), the B2B association Swiss-African Business Circle (www.sabc.ch) will in 2016 again be hosting its two flagship events, the New Years Reception with African Ambassadors based in Switzerland in Bern on 27 January 2016
and the business luncheon with the Swiss Ambassadors based on the African continent in August 2016. These events are open for SABC members only. To find out more about becoming a member click HERE.
The annual AFRICA CEO FORUM (www.theafricaceoforum.com), which rainbow unlimited co-organizes with Groupe Jeune Afrique, will be held for the first time in Africa, on 21-22 March 2016
in Abidjan. In its 3 years of existence, the Forum has become the most important gathering for CEOs of major African and international companies, investors and political decision-makers. For further information about the Forum visit the website HERE. Find out more about registration and participant profiles HERE.
In June 2016 we will again organize the annual platform in Switzerland for doing business with Africa, the Africa Business Day, jointly with partners from the public and private sector. We will inform you early 2016 about the date, location and the major themes of the 2016 event.
Last but not least, after opening the first hotel management school earlier this year in Nairobi, the setting up of additional schools in Africa, in partnership with Alpine Center Switzerland, will keep us busy throughout 2016.
We wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and an excellent start into 2016!
Season's Greetings,
Thomas Seghezzi/Michael Rheinegger
