We had a great week learning about the coming of Fall and pumpkins. Our field trip to Farmland Adventures was a perfect way to end the week! As the temperatures begin to drop, don't forget to send a jacket with your child for daily recess and Mileage Club on Tuesdays!

• Bible Verse: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” - John 1:5
• Bible: We will finish the stories of Joseph and begin learning about Moses.
• Reading: I will be assessing students on their letter names and sounds, rhyming, sight words and sequence of events.
• Math: I will be assessing students on counting and writing numbers to 10, ordinal numbers, sorting objects, and geometric shapes.
• Show and Tell: The next two weeks will be about cowboys. For Show and Tell this week, bring something a cowboy would need to bring with him/her on the trail. Be prepared to tell why he/she would need it.

Last call for Shiloh alumni! We are hosting our first VIP Alumni Tailgate on Friday, October 12th from 5-7pm before the Football Homecoming Game.  Come and enjoy great food, family entertainment, free admission to the game and an alumni t-shirt!
