Woolston Village upgrade to start in AprilKia ora and welcome to the first e-newsletter for the Woolston Village Upgrade. You've received this newsletter as you've indicated you'd like to receive updates on the project. If you no longer wish to receive these updates, you can unsubscribe at any time. We’re upgrading Woolston Village and part of Ferry Road. This will make the village a safer and more attractive place to walk, bike and drive. We’re also renewing the 100-year-old underground wastewater pipes at the same time as the road upgrade, so we won't have to dig up the street to do this work at a later date. Appointing a contractorWe're currently seeking proposals from construction contractors to lead the Woolston Village works. Applications opened in December and will close in early February. We'll announce the successful contractor once this stage is complete. Meet the contractor sessionsOnce we award a lead contractor, we’ll hold 'Meet the Contractor' sessions to introduce the project team to the local community. Stay up to date with news and updatesWe've set up a webpage with information about the upgrade and will be sending out regular newsletters as the project progresses. If you know anyone who would like to receive these newsletters, please ask them to sign up here, or email WoolstonVillage@ccc.govt.nz. Thanks for your patience while we upgrade Woolston Village.
