iPads and iPods are the ultimate tools to support learning in the early years. They are mobile, and easy to use outside and to move around classroom activities.
This session will introduce you to the different functions of the devices and to a huge variety of educational Apps. You will learn about how different schools and settings are integrating their use across the curriculum as a way for children to create podcasts, animations and stories, and to reflect on their learning. You will also learn how to use the devices to record and store observations and assessments, thus rationalising the record-keeping process.
