Casey Memorial Evensong
Sunday, May 21
5:00 pm, Church
Father Casey (1936-1988) was a guiding light and friend to the Christ Church Greenwich Choir of Men & Boys for 13 years. Sunday’s Evensong marks an annual occasion when the choir sings in honor and fond memory of Craig Casey and all that he meant to them.
The Choir of Men & Boys will be joined by teen scholars in singing responses written for the Christ Church choirs by Director of Music Jamie Hitel, Stanford’s Magnificat and Nunc dimittis and Bainton’s choral anthem And I saw a new heaven. The congregation will be invited to join in the singing of C. H. H. Parry’s Jerusalem.
