The Juno Beach Police Department's Annual Night Out Against Crime is rapidly approaching! And it promises to be an afternoon and evening of fun and excitement!

A fun time awaits the entire family - so get out and get to know some of Juno Beach's first responders - both Police and Fire personnel.

Complete with live demonstrations of K9s, Robots, and Drones as well as SWAT trucks, Police and emergency vehicles - face painting for the kids, giveaways and of course FOOD!

Night Out is intended to heighten awareness of drugs, crime, and violence; generate support for local anticrime efforts; and send a message to criminals that drugs and crime will not be tolerated in Juno Beach.

The event also strengthen community spirit and the all important police-public partnership.

Sponsored by the Juno Beach Police Foundation, this event has always been an outstanding start to the new year and this year's Night Out Against Crime will meet and exceed the success of prior years!

Be sure to mark the date on your calendar now - Tuesday, January 24th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Juno Beach Town Center.

NAMES ADDITIONAL CHAPLAIN

Chief of Police Brian Smith has announced that Rabbi Berel Namdar joins the Reverend Emily McGee as a Chaplain for the Juno Beach Police Department.

Rabbi Namdar founded the Chabad Of Singer Island & the Beaches which services the Jewish coastal communities between Riviera Beach and Juno Beach. He will help support the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of the members of the police department as well as the local and seasonal residents of Juno Beach.

POLICE FOUNDATION'S ANNUAL CAMPAIGN HAS BEGUN

The annual fund raising campaign of the Juno Beach Police Foundation began the first week of December as homeowners, residents and business owners received a letter from Foundation President Tom Murphy inviting them to continue their support of our outstanding Juno Beach Police Department.

The Foundation, now in its fifth year has provided funds for items that may not otherwise be available through the Town budget. Those funds have all come from the generous donations by homeowners, residents, businesses and visitors to the Town of Juno Beach.

Donations to the Police Foundation have funded items such as electronic defibrillators, trauma kits, beach patrol vehicles, speed detection trailers and in-service training for our Police Officers as well CPR courses and senior scam-stopper seminars for Town citizens.

Coffee with a Cop January 4, 2023

Coffee

Coffee With a Cop brings police Officers and the community members they serve together each month – over coffee – to discuss issues and learn more about each other. No long speeches. No agenda. Just fun and casual but educational conversations enjoyed by all.

In January of 2023 the event is on Wednesday, January 4th at 9:30 AM on the Town Center patio.

Supporting organizations like the Juno Beach Civic Association and the Juno Beach Police Foundation are on hand to provide information about their services to the community. Fresh Coffee and Donuts provided by Dunkin’ Donuts will be served.
