2nd Grade eNews

What a great week we have had! We will be counting down our last several days - here are some fun things we plan on doing with our countdown if your child would like to participate!

1. Monday - Bring a favorite stuffy (no noise and must fit in backpack).
2. Tuesday - Share a funny joke!
3. Wednesday - We will let them take shoes off in class!
4. Thursday - We will write Thank You Notes during centers.
5. Friday - Wear your favorite cap/hat.

• Bible - We have a review unit in our Bible workbook on all the Bible characters we have studied throughout the year.
• Reading - We will be reading a story called “Now and Ben.” We will learn about inventions from the past and now.
• Spelling - We will have a review of words from this year. We will have some fun with our review time.
• Grammar - Review of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.
• Math - Multiplying with 3 as a factor, subtraction with zeros in the minuend, identify money by determining change, & expanded form numerals

• May 24th - Awards’ Assembly 1st-5th - 9:00 a.m.- Last day of School - Dismissal immediately after the assembly - No Extended Care/No Bus
