Welcome to our Speaker, Ritchie Preuhs

Pastor Ritchie Pruehs joins us for our 2014 Caribbean cruise. He spent thirty years serving as pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist church; including twenty years in the great Northwest, and ten years in Texas. He was instrumental in a church plant in Plano, north of Dallas, Texas, and is the co-founder of Younger Generation Church, a vibrant young-adult ministry of the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist church in Arlington, Texas.

More recently, Pastor Ritchie went back to graduate school and received a degree in Marital and Family Therapy, from Loma Linda University. Currently, he serves as a child and family therapist in the Antelope Valley, Northwest of Los Angeles.

Together with wife Sheila of 35 years, he has 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren, and 1 more on the way. Pastor Ritchie loves hiking and backpacking in beautiful places like the Pacific Crest Trail, or the Eaglecap Wilderness area of Northeastern Oregon.

"I have always had a deep interest in the process of how we grow and change throughout our lives,” says Pruehs. He goes on to say that what he loves most about life is “great conversation with honest sharing about what God is doing in our lives."
