DSL Installations - as seen on TV!

DSL has partaken in a TV documentary regarding Bariatric customers and how changes in the requirements for people who are elderly, disabled or bariatric affect companies within the industry as well as the strain it puts on the UK health infrastructure.

Updates around DSL Installations

As previously mentioned, DSL will be introducing videos on our Youtube channel. These, however will take a while as there are plenty of company projects currently being completed and therefore the video aspect of it will only really be ready once the current projects are finished. We will provide more information closer to the time!

Automated Security with Ease-of-Use

Recently, the Managing Director of DSL, Steve Emery (pictured above), held a meeting with various Senior OT's (Occupational Therapists) with regards to the SteadFast brand. An introduction of the brand was given, detailing how the brand and product fits into the constantly changing market. The presentation covered the design, as well as how it works and how it was built and programmed. Responses were extremely positive as to the purpose and usefulness of SteadFast!

Steadfast provides a multipoint locking solution that is approved by the "Secure by Design" scheme and can be used in conjunction with virtually any new or existing intercom systems.
The trigger can be a remote key fob, push to go button or most any other biometric scanning device.
With the SteadFast Controller, door openers such as Ditec Wel E and Sprint can also be seamlessly incorporated. SteadFast has a battery backup option which can operate all of the connected devices (lock, Opener, intercom for more than 100 operations).
Most importantly, we can retrofit SteadFast into almost any existing door (Timber, Composite and uPVC.)

Uniquely, the SteadFast controller can be programmed by the user without the need for an engineer's site visit or tools!

Digital Advertising

DSL have decided to do some digital advertising, in the form of Digital Picture Frames. We would like to have these on display in various locations, such as Doctor's Surgeries, Shopping Malls, etc.

Online Booking System

DSL have just completed their in-house development project, called the OBS (Online Booking System).
This web-driven system allows any registered person to log in and automatically book DSL's Assessment Area, as well as the Training Room on any weekday in the future.

The system automatically sends out relevant emails when making or cancelling bookings, as well as sending out reminders so you don't forget!

Although the system is up and running, it's not "live" yet, as we're still in the process of completing application testing and finishing the Assessment Area build.
As soon as everything is in place and ready, we will once again make the appropriate announcements at all our Social Web locations (Facebook, Twitter, etc).
