4th Grade eNews

We are really enjoying getting to know this great group of kids!  They are a joy!

• Bible - We will become equipped to handle God’s Word this week. 
• Bible verse - 2Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the Word of truth.”
• Spelling - r controlled vowels - examples: fern, burn, bird
• Language - Review and testing over chapter 2 on Tuesday. Start chapter 3 - Prepositions.
• Reading - Begin our study of Character. We will read the novel Because of Winn Dixie.
• Math - Continuing our review of addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Begin division.
• Science - Continue Chapter 1 - Living Things.
• Social Studies - Continue our study of European Exploration in Chapter 2.

• Chick-Fil- A biscuits are available Tuesday and Friday for $3.00

• September 9 - Students may bring a $1 or more donation for the Teacher Compassion Fund and wear spirit dress
• September 11 -  Picture Day! (Regular Dress Code)
• September 13 - Dads and Donuts at 7 am in the cafeteria, Signing Day
• September 27 -  Grandparents Day @ 9 am in the Worship Center, early dismissal, no extended care
