Meet the Candidates - October 23, 2014

The North Central Florida Tea Party will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Jackie Taylor Building.

Are you concerned about making the right vote on November 4th?  Larry Sessions, candidate for Suwannee County Commission District 4, Linard Johnson, candidate for Columbia County School Board District 1, and Adrian Wyllie, candidate for Florida Governor will be at our meeting ready to answer your questions.  We will also have information on the Amendments, a flyer ready to hand out on Common Core, copies of the last editions of the American Patriot News and information on upcoming meetings. This is a great way to meet other like-minded people, get involved and help make a difference in all levels of government!

We meet at the Taylor Building, 128 SW Birley Ave. Lake City.  This is on the corner of Birley and U.S. 90; approx. 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange in Lake City.  For more information, call Sharon 386-935-0821 or go to:  www.ncftparty.org

Upcoming Meeting

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 13th.  The EPA has proposed rule changes for power plants that, if passed, will cause huge increases to our power bills.  Baynard Ward from Suwannee Valley Electric Co-op will be one of our guest speakers on this topic.  He will tell us what we can do to slow this down.

Also that night Keith Dunn from the John Birch Society will give a presentation on the "Free Trade Treaties" that are threatening our sovereignty and individual freedoms.  There is a good chance that the "lame duck" Senate may try to ratify some of these treatments before the new Senate takes their seats.  Come out and hear about these and learn what you can do to help get the word out and stop these from happening.

This will be our November meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  We will meet at the Jackie Taylor Building as usual.
