Greetings Runners,
The 4th Annual Market To Market Relay presented by Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital is October 1st, 2011 only about 3 weeks away. This will is the first weekly email leading up to the event. The new course runs from Omaha's Memorial Park to Lincoln's Haymarket. 

Most of the course is OPEN TO TRAFFIC.  Meaning that you will be running on roads with traffic and crossing streets with cars on them.  It is your responsibility to watch out for traffic, run smart, and obey traffic laws.

Please Follow These Rules:
1) Run on the left hand side of the road facing traffic unless instructed otherwise by Police.
2) DO NOT WEAR IPODS or other music players.  We want you to hear cars approaching.
3) Wear reflective clothes, lights, or headlights if running in the dark.
4) Obey Traffic Laws.  Follow cross walk signs and other pedestrian traffic laws

The guide is an overview of the event and includes step by step driving directions, course maps, leg descriptions, rules, contests, and messages for our sponsors.  If this is your 1st or 4th Market To Market Relay the guide is critical to your team's success.

Your team captain has been receiving emails through-out the year about the race and information they need to provide M2M Relay Organizers.

September 15th, 2011 is a critical day for you and your team.  This is the day that ALL team information needs to be submitted via the Online Roster Tool.  Information needed from individuals include runner name, accurate 10k time, shirt size, email address, and runner order.

If you are on a team and have not been asked these questions your captain is not fulfilling their duties.  It is likely that you will not be placed in the correct wave or receive a shirt that fits.  Contact your team captain if you have any questions.

The M2M 2011 application is the official M2M Smartphone application being presented by the Market To Market Relay and created by Planet What Development.

This app allows the teams to put away the clipboards and maps and let the application do the work.

The application will do it all, but run the actual race. Below is a list of functionality that the M2M
