1 in 7 girls in developing countries marry before the age of 15 and up to one half of them will become mothers before their 18th birthday. Pregnancy and childbirth are the #1 killer of 15-19 year olds in these countries. (A great video too!)

Approx. 80% of fathers in cases of teen pregnancy don't marry the mother of their child, and absent fathers pay less than $800 annually for child support. Nearly 52% of all US mothers on welfare had their first child as a teenager.

LGBT teens are more than twice as likely to attempt suicide than straight teens. Without parental support, they are 3x as likely to use illegal drugs and engage in risky sexual behaviour.

81% of youths say it is easier to get away with bullying online than in person. 1 in 3 have been threatened online and 90% of those who witness online bullying say they ignore it.
