Be Oven Ready!

Whether baking Easter goodies or just rustling up a quick dinner you need oven gloves that can stand the heat. We are no longer supplying material oven gloves and would advice you to purchase silicone ones – they’re inexpensive, last much longer, don’t burn and don’t require washing. They’re easily found on Amazon so make sure you’re protected when cooking!

The People Behind HMG

We have fantastic staff so we thought we'd share a bit more about the great people behind the company.

Today it's Aidan, Property Manager.

Where’s your favourite place to go in Cornwall?
I love Rocky beach Trevone, there’s some fantastic rock pools, and if you can face the cold the the ‘natural’ swimming pool is fun to explore.

Which would you rather -  a cream tea or a hearty pasty?
Cream Teas are amazing especially when made the ‘proper’ way with good quality local ingredients. I tend to go for bitter first, then jam then clotted cream – not often you find it done this way anymore though!

How do you relax?
A rare walk on the 7 Bay’s Coastal Path is fantastic; but my favourite hobby has to be touring Cornwall’s excellent restaurants, you can’t beat good food.

We like to be social!
