Free Business Development Workshops

SATIC is hitting the road to assist you in the development of your tourism business at regional workshops during April, May and June.

Ward will be outlining the benefits of tourism accreditation and explaining the different programs, as well as the T-QUAL logo.

Anneliese will be sharing hints and tips on how to enter the Tourism Awards, as well as answering questions specifically related to your submission.

You've got to be in it to win it!

If you'd like the chance to be named one of South Australia's tourism stars you are encouraged to enter the 2012 South Australian Tourism Awards, with nominations now open.

Entry is open to all South Australian tourism businesses and suppliers, across 28 categories.

Nominations close on 6 July and submissions are due by 20 August. The Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Friday 23 November at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

T-QUAL Grants

Do you have an idea for a project that will refresh, upgrade or develop an Australian tourism product or service? Dollar-for-dollar matched funding of up to $100,000 (GST excl) is available to help turn your dream into a reality through the T-QUAL Grants - Tourism Quality Projects Program.

 

Applications for the 2012 round close 5pm on 19 April with preference given to tourism businesses that are T-QUAL accredited.

Celebrity chef Matt Moran has begun his T-QUAL Tick Tour, which will see him travel around Australia to visit some of the country’s best tourism experiences that are endorsed by the T-QUAL Tick.
