Chris Ballard issued a Direction for Proposal for an amended Blue Box Program Plan (a-BBPP), to the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority ("the Authority") and to Stewardship Ontario (SO). The letter directs the Authority and SO to submit a proposal for an amended Blue Box Program Plan by February 15, 2018. As part of this program, on October 2, the Authority and SO released a joint engagement and communications plan to consult with five key stakeholder groups and Indigenous Peoples.
