Together we transform generosity into exponential impact

Economic and Community Vitality: A Collaborative Approach

It is a rewarding experience to steward OCF’s mission and to see impacts of our work together across the state. I’ve been fortunate to spend extended time this month in Central Oregon, alongside donors, partners, nonprofits and community leaders.

We know the best solutions come from inside local communities, championed by those who know them intimately.

What I’ve seen and heard — from Bend, Madras, Prineville, Redmond, Sisters, Burns and Sunriver — reinforces the generosity, hard work and collaborative nature of Oregonians — building bridges and opportunities for all.

I hope the stories we share with you here, and on our new website, inspire you to join OCF in supporting local efforts to build strong and vibrant local economies and engaged communities.

OCF to Receive $75 Million Gift

We are profoundly honored by a $75 million gift from the Bill and Ann Swindells family. With a long tradition of charitable giving and leadership in Oregon, they knew the value of investing in the success of all Oregonians. We are committed to continuing their legacy for Oregonians in the years to come as we address barriers to education, health and economic prosperity faced by Oregon children and families.
