Phil has over 20 years’ experience in branding, advertising and design, working at companies such as Hyde Burnett, Origin Creative Design and Maclaren Jones Communications. he is lead creative on design projects across print and digital and is highly skilled in creating marker visuals and illustrations to communicate ideas at the initial design stage. Phil’s life science experience ranges from corporate positioning for start-up companies through to large international communications campaigns.
Beyond the science:
When not spending time with his children, Phil enjoys motorcycle touring and badminton, and has a passion for documentaries on tech, innovation and science being a big fan of Prof. Richard Dawkins and his life vision.

Tim Watson - Junior Account Director - 16 months with College Hill
'My role gives me the opportunity to work with both multi-national companies and cutting-edge start-ups to help craft their messaging and provide strategic communications advice – the variety is what makes it exciting.'
Tim has over 10 years’ experience in the science communications field, working in-house on media and public relations campaigns, marketing, and stakeholder interactions. Prior to College Hill, he worked as Communications Manager at the NC3Rs and Press & PR Officer at both the Royal Society and the British Science Association. He has worked extensively with the academic, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors to secure trade and mainstream media coverage, develop numerous web and print materials, and run public and scientific events. Tim has an MSc in science communication and an Honours degree in Biochemistry.
Beyond the science:
Spending time with his young family has meant less time to pursue his other passions of scuba-diving, exotic travel and enjoying fine wine.
