For the more adventurous, sea kayaking is a great way to explore our coastlines. Many companies offer kayaks for rent as well as training and the services of a guide. For several hours or days, kayakers of all levels are in for a treat!

From June 13 to July 17, 2011, two teams of bloggers (one English-speaking and one French-speaking) are exploring the regions of Québec maritime in search of new experiences to share with their readers. Fascinating Seabirds...
Québec maritime is home to many different species of seabirds, including the famous northern gannets, which nest on Bonaventure Island in Gaspésie in the world’s largest and most accessible colony of these birds. You will also want to see the Atlantic puffins, which return each year to the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve of Canada, as well as common eiders, the largest nesting ducks found in Québec, which you can observe in Bic National Park and the Saguenay – St. Lawrence Marine Park. Once again, the Québec maritime team would like to introduce you to some of our regional flavours. This month, Suzie and Zoé made Strawberry and Smoked Gaspé Salmon Tartar, Red Venison and Wapiti Fondue and

Miguasha National Park
