Campaign launch: Butane - know the facts!

Butane is a highly flammable, colourless, odourless gas. It is a hydrocarbon, found in household and
industrial products and is potentially intoxicating if deliberately inhaled.
Our recent Butane Campaign is a result of an increase in people inhaling butane gas to achieve a cheap high and it provides harm reduction information for those who do.

MRDATF Drug & Alcohol Awareness Week 9th–14th November Schedule of Events |
The Midland Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force (MRDATF) will be running its annual Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week from Monday the 9th to Saturday 14th November 2015 inclusive.
The aim of the awareness week is to focus on increasing awareness about drug and alcohol- related issues and to highlight the drug and alcohol support services available to people in the midland region.

The HSE Keltoi Addiction and Trauma Treatment Centre & the HSE National Addiction Training Programme recently provided a two day workshop entitled 'Seeking Safety Therapy'. The workshop was delivered by Dr Martha Schmitz.
Dr Martha Schmitz, Ph.D. offers continuing education workshops and supervision in PTSD and substance misuse to clinicians throughout the United States and abroad.
