The pre-budget announcements are now coming in thick and fast. According to the Prime Minister, school funding wars are set to end with the unveiliing of his new Gonski 2.0 funding model. It’s going to take a while to work through the detail but the government is claiming it will amount to a funding boost of $2.2 billion over the next four years. According to Michelle Grattan, the Turnbull government is now seeking to seize the political initiative on schools.
Also today we launch our three-part package on food as medicine. We all know we should eat 5 veggie and 2 fruit serves a day, but most of us don’t. So why not? And what is a serve?
