For new advisers this can be a daunting task. And even for experienced advisers, there is always the potential to be taking risks. However, the idea of creating budgets for different student council events doesn't have to be so stressful. And I do recognize that not every school can afford to spend the same amount of money as other schools. Not all of us have the same resources in economics and fundraising opportunities. But all that needs to be done to plan a successful budget is careful consideration must be given to the differing factors that an event costs and what it is likely to raise. Read more here.

Simultaneously, issues relative to accommodating transgender students and employees have grown in schools and workplaces across the country. (S4SD) is a high school safe-driving initiative led by teens for teens. Participation is free and could save a life. Up to 50 schools will be selected to receive $1,000 to develop and implement a student-led, peer-to-peer traffic safety awareness campaign.
