On Tuesday, October 25, from 9 - 10 pm ET, three pro players - John Bryant (Player Development Coach-76ers); Mike Penberthy (2001 LA Lakers Championship Team) and Garrett Temple (Sacramento Kings) will "get real" with moderator Clark Kellogg in front of a live internet audience at our first 2016-2017 Courtside Live event (CSL⁴ 1).

Tune in on October 25 to see how these pros are stepping up as role models in a meaningful, new way.  If you missed any of the previous CSL events, watch them here.

Following are several quotes from last year's CSL events:

• Luke Ridnour - "As a vet, I tried to learn from my mistakes, and then lead by example."
• Mike Wilks - "Leadership to me means maintaining consistency in what I say, and my walk, defining myself by the word of God."
• Monty Williams - "As a coach now, I try to model consistency every day, and I feel part of leadership is also serving those I'm leading."

Kids are especially vulnerable to the messages they hear.  So when pro athletes talk, the message gets through.  Let's make sure the right people hear it.

• Watch BCI Courtside Live with your kids or grandchildren
• Share the event details with coaches of middle and high school teams
• Suggest a youth group viewing party at your church

The NBA regular season begins next week, NCAA Final Four speculation grows, and we're looking forward to the season opener for BCI Courtside Live.  Stay tuned, because BCI has some exciting projects brewing.  Here are a few things we just can't wait to share:

• BCI's Gratitude Wall!  Stay tuned for details about how you can pay it forward during this upcoming season of giving by posting reflections on your blessings.
• A BCI Virtual Event!  On Thanksgiving Day, BCI will host a virtual event in which you, your friends and family can participate.  We'll announce the details soon.
