The program seeks a scholar of Afro-Latinidades in the United States whose research and teaching embraces and advances interdisciplinary approaches rooted in the humanities and/or social sciences, including but not limited to literary and visual studies and criticism; performance studies; social movements and activism; and/or studies of social and structural inequalities.
