Now in their second year, this baby show is going from strength to strength. During the event you can test, try and buy from a large range of fantastic baby and maternity products, many which are not available on the high street. Plus CBEEBIES star Katy Ashworth will be their special guest. Katy, host of ‘I Can Cook’ and daytime CBeebies, will stage her own show, with a meet and greet session for her fans afterwards.

Admission: Child (6 and under) FREE but ticket must be obtained, Child (7-12 years) from £80, Adult from £160. A traditional music festival which positively welcomes children and features a ‘Kids Zone’ to keep them entertained, which featured children’s stage shows, a dressing up tent, face-painting marquee and art and crafts marquee last year. This year the Rainbow Stage will feature new performances from Keith Donnelly, singer, storyteller and "kids entertainer par excellence", and Ursula Holden-Gill, storyteller, clog–dancer and actress. Visit the toddler area with your little one to experience music workshops, story-telling and a mother and baby chill-out room with changing facilities. Camping and non-camping tickets are available, depending on how adventurous you’re feeling!

If you haven’t visited Exbury Gardens yet, then 2012 must be the ideal time to take a trip as Exbury have decided to drop child entry charges for all children under 16! Seasonal changes delivered by nature mean that each month offers something new to explore at Exbury. On this weekend, your children will be encouraged to pick up fallen petals from the rhododendrons and azaleas, which will be made into a giant collage by the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies.

An opportunity not to be missed! Hampshire will see the torch more than any other county outside of London! So there’s plenty of opportunity for you to see the torch and savor this historic moment with your little ones. The Olympic Torch will be passing through Basingstoke, Andover, Winchester, New Forest, Southampton, Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth and Petersfield. There will also be many events and activities running alongside the route. For example you can join the ‘Friends of Royal Victoria Country Park’ at the top of the Chapel Tower to cheer on the Olympic flame as it sails up Southampton Water in the early evening – but we advise you too book early to avoid disappointment.

Moors Valley Country Park and Forest

Experience the magic of the rainforest at first hand.
For two weeks only the Sky Rainforest Rescue pod will be under the forest canopy in East Dorset bringing visitors up close and personal with the amazing wealth of plants and animals that live in the Amazon, and the deforestation that threatens its future.
With 3D cinema, interactive floor, six video screens and quizzes, this ‘virtual rainforest’ experience encourages visitors to learn about the people of the Amazon, their culture and livelihoods, and the threat that deforestation poses for the species that inhabit the forest. Also at Moors Valley there are peaceful walks or cycle rides through the Forest, rides on an authentic narrow-gauge steam train or even Go Ape for those who want to swing through the tree tops!
