Dramacube Saturday Classes: Frozen and Billy Elliot. By popular demand, Dramacube’s 4-6 year-olds will continue with Frozen inspired classes this Autumn. Children will use drama, movement and music to sing their favourite songs and expand their minds through improvisation.

Film Nights at Arthur’s Screen on the Green - September 2014. At their Film Nights Tony creates a menu around the subject of the film. The evenings begin at 7.00pm when they serve your starter then main course and at about 8.30pm when everyone has finished eating they turn the lights down and show the film. During the film they serve tubs of homemade ice cream and a coffee afterwards. £25 per guest. Please note that this evening is great for ‘singles’ too. Brouge at The Old Goat is hosting a wine and cheese taster evening for their customers on Thursday 18th September at 19:00. They will have their new wines to try, kindly provided by Matthew Clark, nibbles from Brouge, Live music from their talented musician Jim Sole and Vedett Beer UK will provide a photo shoot for the staff and customers. These photos will be added to 30,000 beer bottles around the world, feel free to join in. As they cannot estimate the number of customers that will attend, they recommend arriving from 7pm. Live music will start from 8/8:30pm. On the night we’re also being joined by the local tweeter masters for a #TWEETUP @brougetw2

from 1 – 3pm. For Sanity's Sake, a local activity website for children, are organising a Late Summer Picnic for parents with young children in the Borough. All babies, toddlers and children are welcome, with Catch-a-balls - a local movement and ball-handling skills provider (and TLC Partner!) running games during the party to burn off kid’s excess energy, plus other entertainment! Bring a blanket and some lunch, meet other local parents and children.
