ABC’s War on Waste Impact Report

The new study, in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney’s Institute for Sustainable Futures, has found that War on Waste triggered systems-wide changes that are slashing the waste footprint of hundreds of Australian organisations, largely due to the series’ engaging and entertaining format.

The Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC) have released a federal policy platform to deliver integrated infrastructure, housing and places for more productive, liveable and sustainable communities. According to ASBEC’s President,  Professor  Ken  Maher  AO, "ASBEC’s recommendations aim to ensure that the cities we build for future generations deliver healthy, liveable, productive and sustainable communities that we are all happy to call home. Time to act is running out."
