Making the most of Easter

With Easter coming up we have some wonderful, natural opportunities to talk about Jesus with our children. Easter is a great reminder of just how much God loves us, how much he was willing to give up to save us, and the grace and forgiveness he offers us.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Spend some time thinking about how much this verse means to you. Reflect on why you have chosen to follow God and why you want your children to know and love him themselves.

Then among the egg hunts and chocolate, can you take a moment to share with your kids your own story of why Easter and Jesus' sacrifice is so special to you?

We pray you have a blessed Easter and enjoy time together as a family.

With kind regards

Idea of the month

Could you remember Jesus together as a family this Easter?

Do you have some Easter traditions? Could you bring Jesus into the activities you already do? Maybe you could do an egg hunt, with parts of a verse hidden with each one (along with some chocolate of course!).

Real story

We all get things wrong in our parenting.

Our latest blog looks at how we can say sorry to our children and use that opportunity to help them begin to understand forgiveness.

Please send us your stories of inspiring faith at home – good and bad – we know it’s a rollercoaster! We’d love to include them in our emails and on the blog.
