No Images? Click here Welcome to the June Mini-Edition of the PCS Newsletter. We are still cooking up the full version of the PCS Newsletter with the latest PCS news, resources and community content. In the meantime, we wanted to whet your appetite by sharing two fresh resources geared toward strengthening the capacity of our partners. Invite Your Partners for a MEAL Our colleagues on the MEAL team have worked closely with Humentum and the Humanitarian Leadership Academy to create resources for the newest title in the DPro suite, MEAL for Development Professionals (MEAL DPro). The curated resources available on the MEAL DPro Starter website provide opportunities for self-led learning via case studies, on-demand e-learning, and a printable guide. For a more in-depth experience, learners have the opportunity to join Humentum’s 8-week MEAL DPro Flex Course, which will include facilitated discussion and other opportunities for social learning. CRS Staff are encouraged to take this course alongside their partners as a way to gain a shared understanding of MEAL strategies and strengthen partner relationships. Don’t miss this opportunity to “sink your teeth into MEAL”, the MEAL DPro Flex Course, offered through Humentum starts on June 19th! View the two-page summary of the various offerings below: Get on Course with CommCare The ICT4D team has curated two new course tracks to help strengthen partners’ capacity to implement IT interventions: CommCare Fundamentals and CommCare Application Building. CommCare, is a mobile application which collects, reports, and stores data both online and offline. CommCare is used by field workers to track their own activities and to access robust beneficiary records on-the-go. Using this open-source platform, nonprogrammers are also able to build custom mobile applications that meet the technological and programmatic needs of the projects they are implementing. The six module CommCare Fundamentals course track is available in English, French and Spanish. While the CommCare Application Building course track is currently only available in English.
