RMIT + CSIRO's Data61 + Accenture Hackathon

You're invited to collaborate with Blockchain enthusiasts

A short, fun, co-creation research challenge based on Blockchain at the centre of convergence around Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Internet of Things and Machine Learning.

The day will include lunch and networking drinks. We begin with high-powered morning talks to define Blockchain within the context of Industry X (formerly Industry 4.0).  We move into a swift mini-sprint of fun Design Thinking & rapid prototyping.  A final pitch session is judged by research and industry practitioners who offer feedback on the day's activities and outcomes.

The Challenge
Focus on blockchain solutions and the challenges and opportunities it presents for professionals across all industries; design, computer science, health, finance, engineering, manufacturing, architecture, media, business, and policy.

What to expect

Teams will examine issues and opportunities for Blockchain in the design of automated systems with a focus on the ethics of new, trust-based cultures. What are the social and ethical implications of Blockchain as a new system of communication and commerce?
