Can you believe it's December? Please remember to send a coat and a water bottle with your student each day.
Academics

Bible - Adornaments: Learning different names for Jesus

Spelling - Vowel Team -ea (long e sound: team, steam, treat, teach)

Reading & Phonics - Read “The Big Race”; practice reading words with open syllables; work on main idea

Grammar & Writing - Complete sentences, practice marking sentences; practice finding nouns, adjectives and verbs

Math - Subtraction facts; review measurements; introduce quarters

Social Studies - Christmas Around the World
Important Dates

December 1-16: “Connected to Foster” ministry project; donated items can be blankets and/or other comfort items, socks/ underwear in all children's sizes, non-perishable snack items (peanut butter crackers, fruit snacks, etc.), coloring books, crayons, card games, backpacks or duffel bags.

December 9: PJ day (no onesies please); wear tennis shoes too

December 16: Christmas Party @ 12:15 (parents invited); Dismissal at 1:00; no extended care

December 17- January 2- Christmas break
