MediaMath: Positioning a Real-Time Interface for Online Media Planning & Buying

MediaMath is a demand-side platform that provides a single interface from which online media buyers can buy display media advertising from multiple advertising exchanges. The company’s chief executive officer is contemplating the strategic direction of his new business after its first full year of operation. Specifically, he needs to determine which clients he should most actively pursue and how that decision will affect the strategic direction of the business.

  • Students will be introduced to the online advertising industry, the concept of media buying and how both fit into the advertising industry. Key learning objectives include:

A farewell to summer

As summer has officially come to an end here at Ivey Publishing, it's the perfect time to reflect on the months past as we plan for the months ahead.

 

Rebecca (Publisher's Representative) kicked off the summer conference season with a trip to Calgary, Alberta to attend the ASAC conference where she met many loyal and new customers. Our customer service team hit the road soon after to meet many individuals they have worked with over their combined 25 years with Ivey Publishing. Shirley and Hilda were overwhelmed by the warm welcome received at every institution they visited. During their visits they reviewed how to customize course content with our Coursepack Builder tool and the digital distribution options available. The response from our customers is a testament to the great customer service we provide that sets Ivey Publishing apart - always happy to help! They look forward to meeting more of you again next summer.

Ashley and Lee (Publisher's Representatives) resolutely represented Ivey Publishing at the Academy of International Business conference in Istanbul. They were thrilled to see such global awareness of our products and services – and, of course, the beautiful sites of Turkey.

 

Lee later joined our Director, Matt in Orlando, Florida for the Academy of Management conference. Although Matt has met many people since joining the Ivey Publishing team earlier this year, it was a great opportunity for him to meet some of our global distribution partners and more of our customers face-to-face.

Thank you to all for taking the time to talk with us. Our team will be logging additional miles around North America, China and Europe and look forward to visiting many more of you in the weeks to come.

Hadfield inaugurates new Ivey building

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield helped Ivey celebrate its 90th anniversary and officially open its doors to the new 274,000-square foot, state-of-the-art business education facility which is home to over 1,500 students enrolled in the HBA, MBA, MSc and PhD programs, faculty and staff.
