News from Bury Lane Fun Barn

Did you know entry to the Fun Barn main soft play area is half price* after 3pm during term time?

The Fun Barn extension opened in December and has been hugely popular. We also now have a dedicated sensory room for under 2s and children under 10 years old with additional needs (*sensory room not included in half price offer).

We are also hosting Daisy Family First Aid courses throughout the year, click the link for more information and to make a booking with Clare.

News from the Food Hall & Cellar

We are constantly looking to add to our vegan and vegetarian offerings.

New in store this month:

  • Vegan wines - Chilean red and white plus an Italian sparkling
  • Vegan ice creams from Booja Booja, four flavours to choose from, all equally delicious!
  • Vegan cheese including a Smoked Applewood
  • And our favourite, vegan 'Walnut Whirls' - a blast from the past with a modern twist!

We also stock a range of products that are gluten free, dairy free and reduced sugar - see our Free From section in the Food Hall.

For a savoury treat try our Parsnipship Mash-Ups from the deli which are either vegetarian or vegan depending on your choice of flavour.

Charity News - Winter 2018

Our Santa's Grotto, supported by Royston Rotary Club, raised a fabulous £835 for local charities. Thank you to all who helped make this such a special experience for the children at Christmas.

In December we donated over 200 Christmas puddings to local charities including Home-Start Royston, Wintercomfort, Jimmy's Cambridge, Zeo Church/Hitchin Rotary Club, Arthur Rank Hospice and Letchworth Garden House Hospice.

A collection box for Prostate Cancer UK  on our butchery counter raised £54.04 during the course of the year following our main fundraising event in memory of our butcher Brian and a further £21.54 was donated to Home-Start Royston via a collecting tin at the tills during December.

Date for your Diary: We are planning to support Dementia UK during the course of this year with a 'Time for a Cuppa' fundraising day on Friday 6th March and two of our staff taking part in a sponsored walk in the autumn.
