How to Celebrate Spring in Boise
Spring fever hits Boise with a vengeance this month, as longer days and warmer temps become more noticeable. Boise welcomes some professional celebrants of St. Patrick’s Day when Butte in Boise kicks off on March 13 at the Boise Centre. The Montana town is bringing some of its world-renowned Irish party know-how to Idaho and they hope you’ll join. More here. Meanwhile, the Ridge to Rivers trails have begun to dry out significantly and mountain bikers, hikers and runners are all getting a jumpstart on the next season’s adventures. (But for those of you who are still clinging to winter, Bogus Basin Ski Resort just above town is still in full ski mode this month.) Finally, for those who know that March means Madness, which means collegiate basketball, it’s time to welcome the Big Sky Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship to town March 9- 14th at CenturyLink Arena. If you’re hoping to score some tickets to satisfy your sport cravings, go to this link for more information.
