Reminder About 5 Day Proposal Submission Rule and University Holidays
Factor in holiday closures when calculating OSP/BMRA review deadlines.  If a holiday falls during a review period, proposals must be routed one day earlier, since proposals must be routed 5 full business days before sponsor's deadline.

OSP Adopts use of Electronic Signatures
Certified Digital Signatures can be used on internal documentation submitted to OSP (proposal certifications, UPAS, etc.). Be sure to use a Certified Digital Signature, not Adobe’s Fill and Sign tool. A certified signature contains date/time stamp.

Helpful Tips when Subcontracting with a Foreign Organization
Brown’s Subrecipient Monitoring procedures require OSP collect from each entity a Subrecipient Profile Questionnaire, the most recent completed audit or financial statement & the subrecipient organization’s indirect cost rate agreement. Read more
