Join us for a special Staff Senate fundraising event–A Winter's Welcome. Come eat, drink, and dance with your Staff Senators and campus faculty and staff all while benefiting programs like Helping Hands and other UALR community services.

Toastmasters International is an organization founded in 1924 to help men during the Great Depression to develop speaking and leadership skills that would enable them to secure employment and opportunities in those dire times.

Four members of the Staff Senate participated in Suicide Prevention Week activities held in September, helping spread the word about the services provided at UALR to help students through challenging times. Read more »

UALR faculty, staff, and students came out by the dozens to donate blood to the American Red Cross.

The semester's first blood drive, held Sept. 26 in the University Commons, drew more than 50 people. The campus wound up exceeding its goal of 30 units, donating 45 in all.  Read more »
