Click here Answers to last minute registration questions, i.e., what happens if my advisee doesn't register by the deadline?April 19, 2018 Q: What do I need to do as an adviser to approve a student's registration (a.k.a program) by the end of this week? A: Nothing. You only needed to grant the student "permission to register" prior to registration starting. There is nothing more to do until September, when you will click the Review Complete button. Q: What are the little thumbs-up, thumbs-down icons on the left side of the Student's Plan page? A: While cute, these have no functionality currently. You can ignore them. We hope to explore this functionality in future versions of Student Planning. Q: What happens if one of my advisees doesn't register for classes by this Friday at 9:30 p.m.? A: Students should plan to register during the next online registration window, beginning June 11. You will still need to have met with them and granted "permission to register." Students will be able to find their registration windows in the usual location in Student Planning. We recommend that students register now for at least some classes, if at all possible, in order to have the best course selection. But if not possible, there will be another opportunity in June.
