Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc.

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is a time dedicated to the recognition of the contributions and influence of the AAPI community in our culture and in our history.

CPC is joining AAPI nonprofits across the country for Give In May, a month-long national campaign to support organizations serving the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.

CPC has always prioritized in providing the resources our community needs.

Our efforts towards recovery from the pandemic and to #StopAsianHate continues with the launch of the Community Safety and Belonging Initiative, with the goal of ensuring that New York City's Asian American community members feel safe, respected, and included in their neighborhoods and across NYC.

  • By collaborating with our partner organizations and city agencies we will educate, empower and equip our community members to reclaim their agency.

  • We will continue to expand food deliveries, distribute PPE and wellness kits to our senior communities.

  • We will advocate for stronger policies, funding, and services for the Asian American community.

  • We will promote solidarity with diverse Asian American communities, communities of color, immigrant communities, and LGBTQ communities to advance racial justice and address root causes of violence.
