Further submissions on stage two and a new timeline for stage three

Stage two submissions are now available to view and further submissions on the stage two proposals are open until Monday 13 July 2015.  The submissions can be viewed online at www.proposeddistrictplan.ccc.govt.nz

There is also a hard copy (reference only) of the submissions at Council service centres and libraries.

Further submissions can be made online at www.proposeddistrictplan.ccc.govt.nz  or using a hard copy submission form available from Council service centres and libraries or downloaded from the website.

Stage three is approaching

Stage three will be notified and opened for submissions on Saturday 25 July 2015.  This is slightly later than advised.  Submissions close on Friday 4 September 2015.

Proposals in stage three include natural & cultural heritage, coastal, central city, specific purpose flat land recovery zone, further parts of natural hazards and commercial, and designations amongst others (see www.proposeddistrictplan.ccc.govt.nz  for more details).

There will be drop-in sessions held across the district after stage three is notified so that our planners can answer any questions on the proposals and how individual properties will be affected.  Queries can also be addressed to us by phone on 941 8999 (0800 800 169 for Banks Peninsula callers) or by email to dpreview@ccc.govt.nz

As with stages one and two, there will be a household newsletter highlighting key changes proposed in stage three, and owners and occupiers of properties directly affected by the proposals will receive a letter from the Council.
