Stay Informed with Community-Related Text Messages

We are excited to announce that the Championship POA now has the capability to send text messages to all homeowners and tenants who have provided their cell phone numbers to the PGA POA. This service ensures that you receive important updates and notifications promptly.

We will typically only send text messages when there is something important for all residents to be aware of as soon as possible. Instances such as:

  • When either the entry or exit gate on General Drive is not functioning or is restored to service after an outage.
  • When there is any type of unplanned road closure or blockage within Eagleton.
  • When there is any type of emergency information that all homeowners/tenants should be aware of.
  • When there is important storm or hurricane information, including clean-up operations underway.

How to Check Your Contact Information:

To verify the cell phone numbers the PGA-POA has on file for you, please log on to gateaccess.net. Once logged in, navigate to the "Contact Info" tab. Here, you can review the cell phone numbers the PGA-POA has on file. You typically would have given your cell phone number to the PGA-POA when you got the barcode for your vehicle.

Need to Update Your Information?

If the information is incorrect or you wish to add additional numbers, please contact the PGA-POA office at (561) 627-2800. Their team will be happy to assist you in updating your contact details.

Tree Trimming Completed

Revival Landscaping, our contracted tree trimming service, has advised that they have completed all of the work on both General Drive and Championship Drive.

The Board is very pleased with the quality and thoroughness of the work done and hopes that you, as homeowners, are equally satisfied with the improvements made to our community.

Board Tackles Drainage Issues to Improve Pedestrian Safety

To resolve a longstanding drainage issue at the crosswalk near Reclinata Circle, the Championship POA Board of Directors recently hired a contractor to improve water flow after heavy downpours. The work was completed swiftly and effectively, eliminating the problem of water pooling after rainstorms that had made pedestrian traffic difficult.

Encouraged by this success, the Board voted at the July meeting to conduct similar drainage repair work on the sidewalk area between the Diamond Head main entry and exit. This area also experiences water pooling, causing difficulties for pedestrians. The same contractor will be utilized, and work is expected to be completed quickly.

General Drive Entry Project: Latest Developments

As we have reported for many months, your Board has been diligently working on plans to enhance the General Drive entry to the Eagleton community. We've engaged in discussions with contractors, security professionals, landscapers, electricians, etc. to ensure every aspect of the project is meticulously planned. We are making significant progress and are now at the stage where we can request approval from the PGA POA Architectural Review Board, sign contracts and commence the work.

Our traffic flow review shows that approximately 325 homeowners likely use the General Drive gate more often, while around 338 homeowners likely use the Ryder Cup Boulevard gate more often. This data reinforces the importance of maintaining and enhancing both entrances to our community. We ask residents to bear with us as we continue these efforts, aiming to complete the improvements before the arrival of our seasonal residents.

The Board remains committed to serving all residents of Eagleton, and we believe that the beauty and functionality of both entrances are equally important. That's why we are prioritizing the upgrade of the General Drive entry to ensure a welcoming and secure environment for everyone.

Enhancing Our Gatehouse: New Podocarpus Plants Replace Old Shrubs

We are pleased to report the successful completion of a minor landscaping project to enhance the appearance of the main Eagleton gatehouse. The old and woody shrubs at the back of the gatehouse have been removed, making way for new, vibrant Podocarpus plants. This change helps modernize the look of our community and provides a fresh, clean aesthetic.

The new Podocarpus plants were chosen for their rapid growth and ability to effectively conceal the various utility enclosures on the back wall of the gatehouse. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this improvement and are excited about the enhanced beauty it brings to our community.
