Success Story: Maneri-Agraz

If you’re looking for the experts on lighting, Maneri-Agraz is it. Located in Houston, TX, Maneri-Agraz specializes in lighting retrofits, lighting maintenance, and other lighting/electricity solutions. When the owners, John and Frank approached MightyData, we were impressed with how much they were doing in Excel via one of the most complex spreadsheets this side of the Mississippi – we nicknamed their working document "Excel Maker".

Our mission? To take their spreadsheet (and business process) to the next level with FileMaker Pro. The existing system’s limitations were becoming clear as the company grew and more work came in. Soon FileMaker was defined to be the solution! By combining MightyData’s development skills with business expertise of Maneri-Agraz, we were able to create something effective and process-driven.

While working with Frank and John, MightyData recreated the proposal system that was "Excel Maker" and increased the functionality, ease of use, and multi-user capabilities. While the initial goal was to replicate what Maneri-Agraz was using, we teamed up and brainstormed new ways of viewing and reporting the data. With that said, we are proud that Maneri-Agraz boasts one of our solutions as their main tool for surveying client sites, pricing retrofit solutions, and creating a unified proposal to be given to the client.
