Meet the Candidates - Rep. Ted Yoho, Jake Rush, local candidates

Join the North Central Florida Tea Party at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 for a “Meet the Candidates” session. This will be our last meeting before the primary election on August 26th. All the candidates have been invited. Thursday’s meeting will feature Larry Sessions, candidate for the Suwannee County Commission & Richard Keen candidate for Columbia County Commission; Bruce Robinson, candidate for Columbia County Attorney, and U.S. Representative Ted Yoho along with his Republican challenger Jake Rush. This will be a great opportunity to listen to the candidates, ask questions and begin to form opinions. Please invite your family and friends.

The North Central Florida Tea Party is a group of citizens who are concerned about where our nation is heading. We are a grassroots, nonpartisan group opposed to wasteful deficit spending and infringement of our natural rights. We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Jackie Taylor Building located at 128 SW Birley Ave. This is on the corner of U.S. 90 and Birley Ave. approx. 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange. Who/What is the North Central Florida Tea Party?

The North Central Florida Tea Party is a group of citizens who are concerned about where our nation is heading. We are a grassroots, non-partisan group opposed to wasteful deficit spending and infringement of our natural rights. We do have a well-defined and uniform slate of principles on which we center our advocacy and support for political candidates. These principles include, first and foremost, advocating for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and the promotion of free-enterprise, national defense, and traditional American values. Our goals are to educate ourselves on the issues facing us today, act on what we learn, and motivate other like-minded people to become involved. Find a way to become part of the solution instead of just complaining about the problems!
