John Wesley stated, "Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can." Many Hope Force International (HFI) volunteers have lived out this maxim across the USA, Mexico, Haiti and Nepal in 2018. In so doing, the love of God has been tangibly and practically demonstrated to people affected by disaster – in need of a reminder that God cares – and so do His people.
As a disaster response organization, HFI offers help and hope to people who are struggling with sudden, unexpected and often traumatic loss. Staff and volunteers serving in these environments do so at great cost – emotionally, physically and often financially. To each one who participated in giving of their lives and means in any fashion, we want to say “Thank you!” Together, this expression represents God’s heart of compassionate, intimate and loving care.
