• Bible – Joseph Forgives
• Verse - Genesis 50:20, "You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result - the survival of many people."
• Reading – We will continue working on Setting and continue reading our  novel, Bud, Not Buddy. 
• Spelling – short vowel sounds - magic, credit, exist, deposit, staff, direct, splendid, business, sense, discuss, contest, building, swift, interest, exact, promise, habit, thus, active, solve
• Grammar – Prepositions/Prepositional phrases, Nouns (singular/plural, common/proper), Noun jobs, Subject/Verb agreement
• Math – Multiplication (with 1 and 2-digit multipliers)
• Social Studies - Continue Chapter 13 on Communism
• Science - Test on Tuesday, September 19, begin unit on biomes

• September 18th - Cane's Fundraiser for Playground @ Cane's in Fayetteville
• September 29th - Grandparents' Day @ 9:00 in Worship Center-Early Dismissal following the program-NO EXTENDED CARE

*On Tuesdays, we have a faculty meeting at immediately following car line, so we will begin bringing 5th grade car line students in at 3:25 in order to be on time.  They will be taken to the holding area (on the ramp) until time to go to Extended Care.
