REPOSTING A NOTE FROM THE PGA-POA
We understand that some pets and people are upset by loud noises so we want to let you know that the PGA Resort is planning a fireworks display on Sunday, July 2nd at 8:45 p.m. It is expected to last approximately 15 minutes.
Although it is a private event, if you enjoy fireworks you can step outside your home and look toward the Resort in the middle of the PGA National community to enjoy the show.
Also, a friendly reminder that the PGA POA annual assessment is due July 1st. If you set up an "auto payment" via the new computer portal, you must select July 1st or 2nd as the payment date; any other payment date will result in the payment not being pulled.
Wishing you a safe and Happy Independence Day!
CHAMPIONSHIP BOARD OF DIRECTORS - SUMMER SCHEDULE
The Board of Directors set the coming following meeting dates for the summer months of 2023:
- June 21st at 3:00 PM

CHAMPIONSHIP ROADWAYS
A reminder that the repaving in Monterey Pointe as well as on General Drive is scheduled to be done during the week of July 10th and is anticipated to be completed by July 15th.
Weather permitting, the contractor will begin in Monterey Pointe and then move on to General Drive. General Drive will be repaved from the back gate through to Grand Cay. - Again, all these plans are weather dependent.
During this week please anticipate road closures and traffic pattern modifications to allow the work to progress safely. The contractor will be managing the traffic and using barricades, traffic cones, and flaggers. These devices and individuals are for your safety and the safety of the entire community. Please respect them and only drive on the open roadway areas.
If you have questions regarding the Monterey Pointe repaving, please call the Property Manager, Ms. Dee Dee Turner at (561) 697-4990 or send her an email message at ddturner@seacrestservices.com.
If you have questions regarding the General Drive repaving, please call the Property Manager, Ms. Constance Canterbury at (561) 625-8588 or send her an email at constance@unitedcommunity.net.
RECLINATA CIRCLE PAVERS
At the June meeting of the Championship Board of Directors a contract was approved for signature to replace the pavers at the Reclinata Circle. An exact start dates will be advised in an upcoming newsletter.
Approvals to proceed still need to be received from both the PGA POA and the City of Palm Beach Gardens.
We are hopeful of having the entire General Drive project (paving and pavers) completed before our seasonal residents return in the Fall.
If you have questions regarding the paver project, please call the Property Manager, Ms. Constance Canterbury at (561) 625-8588 or send her an email at constance@unitedcommunity.net.
PGA NATIONAL ROADWAYS
Starting on or about July 5th and continuing for up to eight weeks, Avenue of the Masters, from the intersection of Ryder Cup Boulevard to Avenue of the Champions, will undergo repaving by the Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District (NPBCID).
As some of this repaving work will overlap with repaving within our community we strongly request that Eagleton residents limit their use of the community's back gate during this time.
Please note that the Eagleton front gate will remain fully operational throughout this time and residents are advised to use the front gate whenever possible.
We realize this may cause some inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. This work is necessary in order to improve our overall community infrastructure.
If you have questions regarding the Avenue of the Masters repaving, please call the NPBCID at (561) 624-7830 or the PGA POA at (561) 627-2800. Also, keep an eye on the PGA-POA website and the Championship website as updates may be posted there as we go through this process.
